I'm not a professonal xanga'er!

Here's the update!  Michelle and I finally moved in to our new house this past week.  It is great to be in our own place. 

August 6th...Felipe will come to live with us for the first semester of school.  He is from Rancagua Chile.  He is 16 years old.  He will be attending Jenison High School.  You'll get to be the first to spend time with him if you are going on the boat trip.

Here's what's happening out in Holland.   RLC bought a buildign on 40th and Washinton.  It is a strip mall.  The location is actually an old Family Fare.  4 weeks ago we had our first service.  There is live worship and then a video of Pastor Duane teaching at the 10 am service.  Then at noon there is spanish worship and Pastor Edgar preaches.  I have a team of adults that are working with me to ministser to the youth out in Holland.  On Sunday morning 7-12th graders are dismissed and they come into the youth room and one of the volunteers teaches a lesson.  Then on Wednesday nights we have a youth service.  We have been having 15 kids show up.  We do a couple songs, games, food and some teaching.  It has been great!  We've had over 30 kids register as new visitors.  It is great, most of the kids are coming from the neighborhood.  They are not church kids.    It has been fun to figure out our dynamic out there and how we will minister out there!

Other news....I had Wendy's for lunch... surprise surprise

Ok, people have been complaining that I haven't updated.  Mostly Matt,  The house project has been consuming me lately.  We should be moving in after the 4th of July weekend!  You'll have to come out and visit!

Holland youth has been a lot of fun.   We have a small group of about 30 people on Wednesday nights!  You should come and check it out!  Craig is speaking this Wednesday night!  It will be great!

So I don't update alot....

Michelle and I got back from vacation and then got sick for a week!  The flu hit is so hard... I've never been so sick.  I am finally feeling 99% today so I thought I would update my xanga!
